The Incisive Media Foundation is a charitable initiative launched by Incisive Media in 2010 to recognise the enormous potential to raise funds for charity across its portfolio of events and awards, and make a tangible difference to the lives of others. The Foundation has selected two charities to support that will improve education and literacy opportunities for those in need in both the UK and Tanzania, East Africa.
During the evening of The British Legal Awards, we will be making an appeal for Kids Company, an inspiring UK charity founded in 1996 by Camila Batmanghelidjh to provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable children and young people who are struggling to survive on the margins of society.
Many of the children reached by Kids Company have experienced severe and multiple trauma including abuse, homelessness and neglect.
Any donation you make on the evening of the Awards will go directly to help more vulnerable young people out of deprivation, and back into education, opening up employment opportunities and empowering them to change their lives.
